You must give it up to A-Pass; he carries forward the efforts from the original video of this song, into the remix with Don MC and Cindy. Above
all, amazing how the trio develops this visual camaraderie.
The video directed by Alex and Bashir Lukyamuzi of Badi Films cuts out its niche on the fronts of fashion and the soulfully flowing narrative. Speaking of fashion, one will notice the bold statement made with the hats, caps and shades. Cindy is just superbly gorgeous and very inviting in that dress and officer’s U-boat hat.
Moving into the storyline, we have this rich gang getting into this happening hang-out where they meet with the gold-digging trio of Cindy and pals. Later that night when they get dancing, and as it gets all steamed up, madam long fingers (read Cindy) notices the car keys hanging out. And before long, she takes hold of the keys, rushes out with her crew to the car and off they cruise. If this video proves one thing, Kampala girls are not loyal.
It all ends when Don MC and A Pass are shocked to find their car missing and then it all dawns on them that the brains of a man stop functioning in the presence of a hot girl. Rarely do you see a well-summarised storyline in a Ugandan music video that still gets you grooving to the catchy beats of the song.
And just in case you are looking for those flaws, then rewind this video and focus on those sections where Cindy is dancing all alone with close-shot-ups and you will notice the “fantastic” armpits. Happy with what you see?
