Dokta Brain Signs with agency to revolutionize his career

It looks like 2025 is shaping up to be a busy year for singer, songwriter, and musician Geoffrey Nkwanga, popularly known as Dr. Brian. After announcing plans to stage a concert to celebrate his ten-year music career, he has also revealed that he’s working on a seven-track EP featuring 14 up-and-coming vocalists, which he plans to distribute at a free.

These announcements came when Dr. Brian was still a solo artist, but with his career now taking an exciting new turn, fans are eager to see what lies ahead.

Known for penning hits like “Musawo” and “Magic” for Nwagi, “Kisaasi Kimu,” “Binkolera,” and “Beera Nange” for Sheebah, Dr. Brian has just signed a contract with Zhafar Music Agency, the same label that recently signed Beenie Gunter.

Dr. Brian shared the news on his Instagram, announcing his partnership with Zhafar Music Agency and calling it the start of a “New Era.”

“I am honoured to be part of Zhafar Music Agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to grow as an artist and reach new audiences. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team here and creating music that resonates with fans,” he said.

Haruna Zhafar, the founder of the agency, expressed his excitement about the signing:

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Brain to the Zhafar Music family. His unique sound and creative vision perfectly align with our commitment to pushing musical boundaries. This partnership is poised to elevate his career and set new standards for the industry.”

Dr. Brian’s arrival at Zhafar Music marks a significant step in the agency’s mission to discover and nurture fresh talent. The collaboration promises exciting new projects and performances that are sure to make an impact both locally and internationally.
