December is a party month. It is the month when we celebrate the birth of Christ, a worthy reason indeed, but we use that as an excuse to indulge in all sorts of partying. If months had feelings, they would all envy December for being loved by party goers. For hosting so many parties. If it is not the usual end-of-year parties in all the corporate companies, it is weddings, baptisms, house parties, family get-togethers and so on. As I write this, on a Wednesday, there is an introduction ceremony right now going on in the large home 50 meters away. On a Wednesday. That is unheard of in any other month.
For some reason, we are all in a mood for some debauchery (is this too strong a word) while celebrating the birth of the holiest man to ever live.
