Tigan, Suudi make up

Suudi and Henry TiganThey made headlines at the start of 2010 when singer Henry Tigan fell out with his manager, US-based promoter Suudi Lukwago. Suudi chose silence while Tigan went to the media and accused Suudi of taking off with money they had made from a concert. Tigan went ahead and together with singer Dr Hilderman released a duet titled Mr Matama, which is believed to have been directed to Suudi.

Over the years, Tigan’s music career has stumbled down a steep slope. Suudi on the other hand, took time off and concentrated on doing business mainly in US.

However, Suudi returned to Ugandan showbiz by organising a concert featuring  Jamaican dancehall ace Busy Signal late last year. And since he hadn’t been home in a while, Suudi chose to stay even after Busy Signal departed.
“I was chilling and I remembered my boy Tigan. I decided to hunt him down and asked him to come to Silver Springs Hotel where I was staying so we could do a little catching up. I was happy he came immediately and it felt so good seeing him again. He apologised and I felt I could still do something to help his career,” Suudi told us.

Suudi said that although they haven’t started serious business, he is willing to help Tigan get back on his musicial feet. “He’s my boy, I made him and I can still do something for him.”
Suudi told us that he is still busy with the Macka Diamond concert due on Valentine’s day at Club Venom, but he promised to start all over with Tigan as soon as he is done. All the best Suudi and Tigan.
