Legendary Kadongokamu artist Lord Fred Ssebatta is gearing up for his concert scheduled for the 13th of next month at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
The Matendo guitar musician had a press conference at Serena where he addressed several issues regarding his music career and among the key points he noted was how veteran music producer, singer and Fenon Entertainment proprietor Steve Jean produced one of his biggest songs.
“I would like to thank Steve Jean. He loved Kadongokamu and he suggested that we change something in the beats and rhythm of the song. I argued about it but finally gave in and allowed him to do what he does best, and when Steve Jeane presented the finished sample, the project was amazing. He worked on my timeless song ‘Nalwewuuba’ but you can see people dancing to it in clubs flowing smoothly without tampering with the beats, Fred Sebatta said.
Steve Jean together with the late Kizito Timothy further worked on the famous ‘Doole Yo’mwana’ song as well.
The Sam Wange artist further gave credit to Chameleone for his approach.
“Jose Chameleone surprises me. He is the only artiste who has approached and asked me for some advice.”
Lord Fred Ssebata is expected to take revelers on a thrilling journey down memory lane during his 42-year anniversary concert that will take place on December 13, 2024 at the Kampala Serena Hotel with Fenon Entertainment doing the whole production of the show.
