South Sudanese Artiste Chamdena Level gears up for new album with top Ugandan producers

Chamdena Level

Kampala-based South Sudanese artiste Chamdena Level is taking a bold step in his music career by working on a new album. Known for hits like Nyiir Gew, Mama Du, Black Queen, and Fananin, Chamdena aims to create a project worth watching.

The upcoming album, still untitled, will feature both solo tracks and collaborations. According to sources close to the artist, some of Uganda’s top producers—including Andre, Enox Pro, Century Vybz, Zizous Man, Slatine Pro, NIC, and Morgan Isaac—are on board to shape the album’s sound.

Born Lino Angok Deng, Chamdena is an award-winning artist blending Afrobeat, Afro dancehall, dancehall, and traditional Dinka music. He made his breakthrough in 2018 with Engo ca Kek ke Weu, a hit that earned him accolades, including Best Video of the Year 2018-19, and led to tours across Uganda, Kenya, and South Sudan.

Fans eagerly await this new project, which promises to showcase Chamdena’s growth and his fusion of diverse musical styles.
