ObaFest: Nwagi, Blu 3, Vinka and Fik Fameica to headline epic 3-day festival

The Bell ObaFest 2024 is back, promising an unforgettable three-day experience with an impressive lineup of Ugandan stars. Slated to run from October 18th to 20th at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo, this second edition will celebrate Ugandan music, food, and culture—“the Ugandan way”—over ice-cold beer.

This year’s star-studded lineup includes some of the country’s biggest names, such as Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, John Blaq, Blu 3, Fik Fameica, Alideki Brian, and Elijah Kitaka. They will be joined by top DJs, including Selector Jay, Maker Breaker, Fem Deejay, and Eyo Mackus, who will keep festivalgoers entertained with pulsating beats throughout the weekend.

A Weekend of Music, Culture, and Celebration

According to Lillian Kansiime, Bell Lager’s Brand Manager, the festival promises more than just music. “As the ‘enjoyments’ beer, Bell ObaFest is about showcasing the many ways we celebrate life as Ugandans through music, food, and beer,” she explained.

In addition to live performances, Bell Lager will offer a wide selection of UBL’s beer portfolio, including Bell Citrus, Draught, Pilsner King, and more, giving attendees a unique chance to explore new flavors.

Last year’s debut edition featured Irene Ntale, Spice Diana, Harmonize, Lynda Dane, Azawi, and more, and some of these fan-favorite artists are expected to make a return to this year’s stage.

Festival tickets are available online via Flexipay at UGX 30,000 per day (early bird) and UGX 50,000 at the gate. A weekend pass goes for UGX 70,000.

Gates will open daily at 11:00 AM throughout the three-day event.

With more performances yet to be announced, the Bell ObaFest is set to deliver an even bigger and better music experience for festivalgoers.
