This is not the best of movie titles. But what it lacks in the title, this movie makes up for in speed. The 100 minutes seem like a mere 20 minutes. Racing humans, racings cars, some coming from the sky, guns, blades and bits of martial arts, all make a thrilling appearance in here. The star car is the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 which is driven at over 200mph. It is faster than light I tell you, you don’t believe me? Watch the movie. But if you can’t stand the sight of blood you might want to pass this fully fledged action movie.
With Sheriff Ray Owens (Arnold Schwarzenegger), that amount of action is expected. Add Deputy Mike Figuerola (Luis Guzmán) to the cast and we get ourselves a good dosage of humour. This is one movie you will enjoy watching again and again as the FBI fail to catch drug lord Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega) now an elusive escapee. Dude has an army helping him get away and with a mole in the FBI, he is as good as untouchable. After beating the FBI, he manages to immobilise two Swat vehicles, only to be caught by a sheriff that FBI undermines. The sheriff in turn does a good job putting Cortez in his place. This is a nice movie.
