Valentine’s Day is among those few days in a year when artistes get overwhelmed with bookings. Because it is a day for the lovers. Red and black were the dominant colours at Skyz Hotel as lovers received melodious tunes from Cinderella Sanyu and Madoxx Sematimba.

Dubbed ‘Love at the Skyz’ the evening was everything lovers needed to wind down the day. Most came as couples and it looked like the Shs 200,000 for singles and Shs300, 000 couples was too little going by the big numbers that accessed the venue.

The red carpet evening show held at the Tropicana poolside saw Madoxx singing some of his best songs. Quite befitting the occasion, Madoxx put up a memorable performance with songs that the audience truly loved. He did songs like ‘Kankulage’, ‘Omukwano’, ‘Nakatude’, ‘Irene’, ‘Omuyimbi’, and ‘Namagembe’ among others. He had people singing along word for word to his songs.

That was not just it. Clad in an all-red outfit, Cindy took to the stage, and different from her previous performances, she did an acoustic session, and not just that, her performance also involved a fashion showcase from the Gabriel BA collection. The models came dressed in different outfits as Cindy was performing and it was a fresh sight.

The former Blu *3 member did songs including ‘Onina’, ‘Sample Dat’, ‘Run This City’, ‘Nawewe’, and ‘Boom Party’ among others.
