I own the land Gravity Busabala showed you – DJ Erycom

Yesterday, Gravity Omutujju invited several journalists to Busabala, where he surrendered land he said would house a free medical facility.

“This is my land, located in the Busabala Kirinda cell, and it is on this piece of land that we will build the hospital that I have been asking Mr Kyagulanyi to construct.” After he failed to respond, I took another step and offered mine,” Gravity told the journalists he had invited.

According to the information we have received, Gravity does not own the piece of land. DJ Erycom, a Ugandan DJ who operates abroad, owns it.

In the document from Buganda Land Board, Erycom indicates that he (Erycom) obtained the land by way of a lease offer.

“The land in Busaabala is mine. If you have legal documents, put them on the table,” Erycom said before sending out documents of proof.

“The Board hereby offers you a lease on behalf of the Ssabasajja following your application upon the terms and conditions here. Lease for a term of 49 years from 03rd May 2023, A premium of Shs 24,000,000, Ground rent of Shs 400,000 per annum, and subject to re-assessment at intervals among others.
