Fally Ipupa wins big at the AFRIMMAs

The winners of the 2023 edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMAs) were announced at a ceremony in Texas, US, on September 17.

Now in its 10th year, the awards platform recognises and celebrates notable musical works and artists across Africa.

This year’s biggest winners include Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, who took home the trophy for Best Francophone, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award. He also bagged the award for Video of the Year for the song ‘Garde Du Couer’ in which he featured Charlotte Dipanda.

The singer is currently on tour around the world and he will make a stopover in Uganda. He will headline two different concerts in Uganda happening on September 29, and October 1, in Arua at Arua Hill Stadium and Kampala at Sheraton Gardens respectively.

The show has been organized by Malembe Lifestyle has mastered the art of organizing successful events and is sponsored by Fenon Events an events production company that provides sound, lighting, and stage for events.
