Ugandan singing trio has spearheaded the fundraising drive for Abdu Kasirye alias Mc Kisaati whose child needs surgery for a heart disease.
The singers have given Mc Kisaati shs2M to start the drive which needs a sum of Shs90M for her to get treatment in India.
“As B2C, we have for a very long time been working with Kisaati and when he approached us about his daughter’s condition, we couldn’t hold back. We have started with a donation of Shs2M for the little girl and call upon other stakeholders in the entertainment industry to also come through and help,” said Mr Lee.
“Kisaati was the first person who gave us a microphone at Club 44 and introduced us to Andy Events so it would be in good faith that we return the favor. We call upon over one hundred musicians, fellow emcees, deejays, and our fans to join this drive so that Rahma gets to enjoy life like other normal children,” added Julio.
Rahma Kagabane was diagnosed with a heart problem and her father has failed to meet the treatment costs she needs.
“I am calling upon sympathizers to come to my aid for the sake of my child. I can no longer afford the pilling bills that are coming with this situation. My daughter needs Shs90M to have an operation in India, money that I have never held in my life. I thank B2C for being the first people to come to my rescue and I pray God rewards them abundantly for their contribution,” said a tearful Kisaati.
