While appearing on NTV The Beat recently, singer A Pass talked about the newly formed musicians federation and UMA among other things.
The former Buddies artiste revealed that he doesn’t need federations and associations to exist as an artist and that to start a career, an artiste needs a microphone and a studio.
“I don’t need to be in the federation to exist as an artiste. I existed even before UMA (Uganda Music Association). All we needed to start our music career was a microphone and a studio. No established artistes can claim they helped me. You don’t have to wait for a federation to support upcoming artistes,” he stated.
A Pass has not come out to show which side he belongs, but such a statement suggests that he is neutral.
