Nigeria’s Wurld leaves fans yearning for more

Nigeria’s Wurld

Previous editions of the Jameson Hangout have been happening at Design Hub in the industrial area except the one that happened over the weekend.

The event was shifted to Ndere Cultural Centre in Bukoto with Nigerian musician Wurld as the headlining act. This was a very good projection as this specific edition had the biggest numbers ever since its inception.

It is said that the event attracted over 1,000 people to attend and Wurld’s performance left all of them yearning for more.

The 36-year-old was impressive, captivating the audience with his hit songs such as Show You Off, Trobul, Love Nobody, Mad, and Let You Down.

His performance was full of interaction. The audience followed his lead on a number of songs, giving them a chance to sing parts they knew.

Wurld was however not the only artiste who performed a range of other Ugandan acts also shared the stage with the Nigerian including Rick Man, and Likkle Bangi while deejays Kas Baby, Vanns, and Alza put up an impressive deejay mix on the turntable.

The event provided much more than just music as revellers were treated to a variety of board games, pool tables and PlayStation.

The primary objective of the Talent Africa-sponsored event which takes place monthly, is to bring friends together, foster new connections, and create an atmosphere of celebration.

Attendees were able to revel in the joy of music, indulge in mouth-watering BBQ, and savour the smooth taste of Jameson whiskey.
