Ruger was the last Nigerian artiste to perform in Uganda this year and after six months, WurlD, a Nigerian music sensation is going to be headlining the Jameson Hangout come the 24th of this month at the Ndere Centre.
WurlD, born in Lagos, Nigeria, and later relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, is known for his unique music style, described as electro-fusion.
With his remarkable talent and ability to seamlessly blend genres, WurlD is set to captivate the audience with a sensational live performance. Famous for songs like Mad, Trobul, Sade, Press, Show you off, Ego, Sweat, Stamina, Location and a lot more and has featured on projects with Nigerian stars Davido, Sarz and more.
Joining him on stage will be Uganda’s renowned Janzi Band, along with a mix of fresh Ugandan talent, including Akeine, Rickman, DJ Kasbaby, DJ Chapat, DJ Alza, DJ Vans, DJ Tony, and Sheila Salta.
In a video drop, WurlD expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m coming to your city for the very first time, and I can’t wait to see you guys. Make sure you meet me at the Jameson Hangout in Uganda. It’s going to be one hell of a good time, and I’m coming with new music.”
Starting at 2:00pm and continuing into the night, the event is expected to offer a diverse range of interactive games, enticing pop-up shops, captivating musical performances, mouth-watering barbeque, and top-quality Irish whiskey and the platform brings individuals together to foster lasting connections and celebrate life in an extraordinary way.
