The Music Video: Clean & Out – Bobi Wine and Mr G

Music Video

The only reasons why Clean and Out beats Ugandan produced music videos hands down is because the Jamaican girls in this video really know how to dance, they are smashingly hot and the video is commendably clear.

The storyline is crafted around these girls sorting out their undergarments before they get out of the house to go shopping for better. Clean and Out is the video for those men searching for optical nutrition. Of course, it will widen one’s scope of possibilities in the world, for example the girl who dances comfortably from the laundry sinks.

The colouring and lighting in the music video is worth the praise, just like Bobi Wine’s shock at seeing such hot girls.

Much as this video scores some good points, it also goes ahead to show that it’s another low-budget video made by one of Mr G’s boys in Jamaica who happens to own a camera. Otherwise, how could we explain some opaqueness caused by fingers moving over the screen sides? Just to predict, the video may have been shot in the bedroom that Bobi Wine used while in Jamaica. And I hate the fact, that at the beginning of the video, there is a tendency of one getting to forget that this is actually a music video, it could be mistaken for an adult-rated Nigerian movie.

And my last complaint with the video, why were Bobi Wine and Mr G confined to the corridor and the stairs for the whole music video? A few scenery shots would not have done us bad, which would be the real Africa-Jamaica connection.
