Gospel singer Emmanuel Edwin Kusaasira alias Coopy Bly has assured Mbarara people of the finest action in his upcoming concert dubbed ‘Action Talk‘. This will be held at Agip Motel Mbarara on Sunday 21st May 2023.
According to Coopy, the show will feature several gospel artistes. He believes the concert concept will appeal to all attendees.
“We shall have artists from Mbarara and Kampala ready to perform. We know those from Mbarara are anointed. There is a blessing God has given them on this land that we need to tap into and we hope to learn a lot from them,” said Coopy Bly.
He added “We called it ‘Action Talk’ Concert because we believe in this generation, our actions should speak louder than words, and our holiness should be seen in action than in words. My music works for all generations, the young and old, everybody is going to go back better, and no one will go back the same. It is going to be more music, less talk, with a live band, quality sound, and nice light production.”
Sunday Rukundo, a Western gospel singer, says this is an opportunity for local artists to learn from successful artists.
Julie Sokies, Best Emily, Isaac Tee, Peterson Ma, Exodus, Fortune Spice, and Joseph Generation, are some of the artistes that will perform at the show.
Funds from the concert will be used to facilitate the construction of the Vocational Institute in Kampala. This will help offer vulnerable groups in slums tailoring and entrepreneurial skills.
Cooby Bly, the Katwe ghetto born, started music in his childhood days. His breakthrough song was ‘Bwaka’ in 2010 and has hits like ‘Magezi ga Wakayama’, ‘No Touching’, ‘Byatusse’, and ‘Omugati‘ among others.
