Australian multi-talented artiste with Nigerian roots, Rose May Alaba has released her first song this year titled ‘Ibadi’.
‘Ibadi’ which simply means “Waist” in the Yoruba Language is a feel-good, up-tempo, and rhythmic afro-beat song that captures the essence of a woman’s body in a fancy way especially when she whines her waist.
The song was produced by award-winning Nigerian producer and Grammy Nominee Blaise Beatz. Blaise is popular for featuring on Chris Brown’s Breezy album “Call Me Every Day” song featuring Wizkid, he also produced Irene Ntale’s “Nyamba“, and Adekunle Gold’s ‘Something Different’ among other songs.
Alaba’s team says the artiste chose to work with Balise on the ‘Ibadi’ project to elevate her unique sound to new heights, ensuring that the song will be an instant hit in the Nigerian music industry, Uganda, and beyond.
