We have not heard new music from Jamal Wasswa for a while but his opinion on things music still counts and speaking about opinions, the singer has come out and said Red Banton holds higher stakes in the industry than what people think.
He mentioned that the Nonya Money artiste was the first Ugandan artiste to be famous in the early 2000s. “Red Banton was the first artiste to become famous. According to me, he was the first artiste to lift Uganda’s music industry,” he said in regard to the talk about the top three artistes in Uganda.
To further emphasise his point, the Abakyala Bazira artiste also said the top three musicians are only big in their homes.
