Former Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande scores big abroad

Former Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande is on cloud nine after she graduated with a degree from Middlesex University in Dubai.
The 2019 Uganda miss tourism queen was conferred with a Bachelor of Arts in Business management (Marketing).
She shared her joy with her followers saying, “They didn’t believe in me, God did. Not gonna write a whole essay because I lost the words. After all action is better than words. I’m so grateful to God,” she posted on her socials.
The marketing degree is an addition to the diploma she acquired in Journalism from UMCAT school of Journalism and media studies last year.
Nakakande was Miss Uganda 2019 and she wore the crown longer than her predecessors due to covid-19 that made it impossible to have the beauty pageant organized according to schedule.
Middlesex University Dubai is the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London and it opened in January 2005.
The degree awarding ceremony was held at luxurious, legendary Safinah Ballroom at Jumeirah Beach hotel a 5-star venue on Dubai Sparkling coastline.
