HRH Nabagereka gifts Ganda Boys for promoting culture

The Queen of Buganda Kingdom, Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda gifts Ganda Boys with her new book

The Queen of Buganda Kingdom, Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda has appreciated UK-based Ugandan musicians Denis Mugagga and Dan Sewagudde alias Ganda Boys with copies of her newly launched book on humility dubbed ‘Obuntubulamu’.

This happened during the Ganda Boys’ visit to Buganda Kingdom on Tuesday. The Queen was appreciating the Ganda Boys’ hard work and creativity toward the promotion of the Buganda Kingdom through the Buganda Anthem.

“It was such an honor to meet HRH Maama Nnabagereka. Long live Buganda. Our gracious Queen made us feel at home. Her enthusiasm and guidance towards the Kitiibwa Kya Buganda journey is unmatched. Her Newly launched Book ‘Obuntubulamu’ is the perfect guide to life,” they shared on their social media after the visit.

The two members of the group jetted into the country four days ago and visited the Kisakaate, a Queen’s holiday camp for children. They have also visited the Ambassador of the European Union in Uganda Jan Sadek, the Prime Minister of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga, and the Queen of Buganda.

In 2022, the Ganda Boys organised choirs from all six continents of the world to come together in a cultural celebration of Uganda’s heritage with a grand collaboration on a recording of the Buganda National Anthem, “Ekitiibwa kya Buganda”.
