An 11-year-old vocally gifted songstress Leyna Kagere aka Leyna K has released a song titled “Bless my future”.

Leyna K participated in the ‘East Africa Has Got Talent’ at the age of 7 and won a golden buzzer in 2019.

While speaking to Sqoop, Leyna K said she dedicates the song to parents and children.

“Bless my future is about the struggles parents go through to see that their children succeed in life in terms of Education. Many children desire to be important people in life, many want to be doctors, pilots but it’s not easy,” she said.

She added that children also have to work hard to achieve the best.

“Once they listen to their parents they can achieve the best in future that’s why I said in this song that I will never rule my life,” Leyna K said.

“I want to thank Daily Monitor for always giving me platform because it’s the first newspaper to write about me in Rainbow magazine and people started to know me and if it wasn’t this newspaper, I wouldn’t be where I am.”
