Comedian Patrick “Salvador” Idringi is better known for creating funny angles to the realities of life and this has taken him places. Slavado is still going places and the latest on our desk indicates that, the man from Ombokolo recently cracked a deal with Crown Beverages Limited to be the ambassador of the upcoming Mountain Dew Xtreme Gamers Tour, a nation-wide search for the best video gamer in Uganda. The winner will walk away with Shs10m and first runners-up will walk home with Shs5m.
Salvado made the revelation during a conversation we had with him at the launch of the sci-fi movie Elysium at The Hub recently.
According to Alex Muhangi, one of Salvado’s closest friends; the competition is being represented by the right person. “If it wasn’t for age limit issues, I’m sure he would have won one of the top prizes. Salvado loves video games,” Muhangi said.
