Juliana’s concert date coincides with Rema’s

Juliana

Juliana

She has proved that a musician can stay big even when they don’t hold an album launch concert every year. It’s been five years since Juliana held her last album launch concert at Kati Kati gardens.

Juliana, who is a judge on the regional Tusker Project fame talent show, has been releasing songs every year, but she chose to take her time to hold a concert. But she finally decided to break the silence and announced that she will be holding a concert come October 18 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
But wait a minute, singer Rehema Namakula aka Rema got herself into trouble with former boss Bebe Cool and was fired from his Gagamel Crew after she allegedly announced that she will be holding her Kukaliba album concert on October 18th this year.

Perhaps Bebe was right to caution her to take simple steps before she makes such a move. It turns out that Rema and Juliana’s concerts are on the same date, but different venues.
With Juliana’s event at Serena Hotel and Rema’s at Club Obligatto, some critics say, there might not be a very big problems considering the venues are classes apart. However, other people think that since the two ladies both have amazing talent and almost have a similar style of music, they share a similar fanbase and it is likely to be hard for Rema since she has fewer songs.

There is also rumour that the promoters behind both concerts have bad blood between them and are trying to get at each other through these concerts.  Over to you Juliana and Rema.
