One of Uganda’s best-known stand-up comedians Patrick ‘Salvado’ Idringi will celebrate yet another edition of his star-studded Africa Laughs show on October 28 at the Kololo Airstrip. This year’s line-up of Africa Laughs will feature four local acts, Dr Hilary Okello, Agnes Akite, Madrat and Chiko, and Okello Okello. International comedians include Eric Omondi from Kenya, Gordons from Nigeria, Q- Dube from Zimbabwe, Loyiso Gola from South Africa, Celeste Ntuli from South Africa, and Daliso Chaponda from Zambia.

Musical performances will be from Azawi and Ykee Benda. Online and Physical tickets according to Salvado are available and will go For Shs50,000 early bird and Shs75,000 at the gate for ordinary. For the VIP, an early bird ticket will go for Shs100,000 early bird and Shs120,000 at the gate. A table of 8 people will go for Shs300,000.

The show made its debut in 2012 when he was invited to perform alongside other comedians worldwide. It was there that he decided that the same should be done for African comedians.  When he returned, he started Africa Laughs and in 2013 the first show took place at the Imperial Royale hotel.
