Kenyan socialite ditches Ugandan show over electricity

Huddah

Kenyan Socialite Huddah Monroe was in Uganda over the weekend for an event at LA TERRAZA but never showed up after she failed to see her clothes over the darkness.

The socialite booked into the Pearl of Africa Hotel where she would spend the night before making an appearance at La Terraza but couldn’t find the right outfit for the show thus canceling it.

“Imagine lights went off for 12t hrs. We had to use a fire exit door to get to the lobby. Lol! And I had an event. We couldn’t access my clothes, so I didn’t show up at La Terraza because of electricity. I am still traumatized,” Huddah wrote on her social media handles.

She further went on and said most of Africa apart from Kenya and South Africa is a village. “My friends laughing at the electricity blackout for hours lol! Remember most of Africa is a village. Apart from Kenya, SA, the rest of Africa is run down…literally nothing to write home about. You just do your thing & expect the worst.”
