The UG Reggae Fest is on this weekend with MC Fullstop and DJ Navel from Kenya at Methods lounge and Lido beach respectively presented by Twiga events.
Themed ‘Healing the community with Reggae culture’ shows are anticipated to be the biggest this weekend, especially for the reggae lovers. The first show happening tomorrow is going for 30k while the show at Lido beach Entebbe on Sunday will be going for 10k.
MC Fullstop, real name John Maina, is a renowned Kenyan reggae hype man who has been in the entertainment industry since the 90s. He made his debut in 1994 when he was only fourteen years old. He was part of the Supremacy Sound show on K24, a popular dancehall reggae show that aired every Saturday at midday, and also worked at Kiss FM and Citizen TV, NRG radio before joining K24 hosting the Riddim Vybz program.
