The music video :Tebiba Bingi – Iryn Namubiru

Iryn Namubiru

Iryn Namubiru

Iryn might be lounging in the Japanese coolers after she was caught with drugs at the airport in Tokyo about weeks ago, but she has new music that will keep her on the charts for some time. Her latest release is Tebiba Bingi.
Shot by Ark Menz, this song’s video has a clear storyline though it’s not an imposing one. Tebiba Bingi compares two couples as it tries to answer the question of what women really want. On one hand, there is the affluent couple of Iryn and her man while on the other side, there is the broke couple, that uses a boda boda as their mode of transport.

Tebiba Bingi goes ahead to show that it’s the little things men do that sweep women off their feet. For example, when her hands get seared by the hot saucepan on fire, the video shows a man trying to cool the heat. The brightness in the video is in the right range and the scene location is superb. Iryn blends in well with the red and white striped cushions. And did I say her lips are tempting?

I was a bit disappointed, I did not expect the broke couple to have the ability to pay off the restaurant bill when they went out. If at least they were made to do the dishes, then it would have enhanced the believability of the storyline.  Iryn’s hair did not seem to be at its best, her stylist should have observed that. Better still, the colour grading should have been enhanced to add a more romantic feel to the broke couple and really prove the power in the little things men ought to do for the ladies. The video did not certainly prove that given a choice between a Land Rover and a boda boda, women would choose the boda boda. We all know that if money grew on trees, women would date monkeys.
However it’s a well-synched video. Fairly long but it’s worth watching for the four and a half minutes that it runs.
