After a very long wait, the nightlife in Uganda returned to normal and it is picking up by the day. On Thursday evening, Kampalans witnessed the grand opening of the new La Terraza Bar and Lounge at Acacia Avenue in Kisementi.
The bar that was formerly Sky Lounge was packed to the brim with revelers by 8 pm and by 1 am people hardly had anywhere to stand.
The night featured one of Uganda’s biggest DJs, Fem DJ who had guests dancing to his mixes. The night also saw performances from Azawi and ZuliTumz that set the pace for the rest of the night.
Zulitums kicked off his performance with his hit song ‘One minute’ followed by “Easy” and climaxed his performance with the crowd’s favorite ‘Oluvanyuma‘ a soulful ballad.
Azawi then took to the stage and opened her performance with the popular anthem ‘My Year’ which got the crowd warmed up and on their feet, this was followed by her popular hit single ‘Lo Fit’, ‘Repeat it’, ‘Qinamino’ and ‘Party Mood’ the star climaxed her performance with her latest release “Majje” a hustler’s anthem off her African Music Album.
La Terraza is anticipated to be one of Kampala’s go-to nightspots as it is projected to give the upscale, fun-loving party animals some of the finest and most innovative party experiences offered in the capital.
