VIDEO: I’ve never confessed to killing producer Danz Kumapeesa, says Isma Olaxess

The chairperson of Uganda Bloggers Association, Ibrahim Tusubira alias Isma Olaxess has distanced himself from a video clip in which he allegedly confessed to killing producer Daniel Mukisa aka Danz Kumapeesa.

Danz Kumapeesa succumbed to head injuries in October 2017 after he was hit with a dumbbell.

An eight-second video that has since gone viral on social shows the blogger allegedly confessing to having a hand in the death of the producer.

The blogger however, told our sister station, Spark TV on Thursday that the video was concocted by ill-intended people to blackmail him before describing it as a social media war.

“I did not know Danz Kumapeesa in person and I had never met him. I had no reason of killing him. By the time he died, I was in Sweden. Whoever says I killed him should bring more concrete evidence than the edited video clip,” said Olaxess aka Jajja Iculi in response to statements made by music promoter Abbey Musinguzi popularly known as Abitex in which he called for Olaxess’ arrest for allegedly confessing to murder.

The video went viral on social media moments after Olaxess was released from Kitalya prison where he spent a night on remand on charges of offensive communication and criminal libel pressed against him by musician Emmanual Ssuuna alias Omulangira Ssuuna.
