Ugandans never run out of crazy parties. One time it is goat races and then a dog show. This time round, party animals will be popping bottles on Easter Sunday.
According to one of the organisers Shadrack Kuteesa, Pop Bottles is a unique concept for a party that is exclusive to people of the elite class and those that want to be hanging out with crème de la crème of society, that is corporates and  socialites. “It has been around the world and in Africa, it has so far been held in South Africa at Hyde Park, Johannesburg  and in Cape Town.

The Ugandan event is going to take place at Speke Resort Munyonyo.  “Our target audience is adults in social high class, celebrities, corporate and fun loving party people,” Kuteesa said.
The event will include activities like boat rides, games, modelling and entertainment by dancers, musicians and lots of drinks and eats.

The party will be hosted by Channel O VJ Flavia Tumusime and Noxx from South Africa.  BBA Amplified’s first runner up Luclay who is a well established actor and model in South Africa is one of the special guests at the party and several models, the “pop angels” from Durban South Africa will be flown in to specifically usher at the event.
Ushering will be done by 2013 pop angels from Durban. Vee-jay mixing live on screen by Uganda’s top Deejays.
