Mariat Nasasira reveals why she quit her radio job

A month ago, radio presenter Mariat Nasasira got married to a one Ibrahim Ssegawa Jumba in a Nikkah ceremony. The two celebrated a month in marriage with and she used this opportunity to open up on her career.  Mariat confessed that she will not be going back to Galaxy FM which came as a shock to her fans and friends.

“I have been receiving so many lovely messages about when I am getting back on air and I would like to address this here. I would like to inform you officially that I am no longer an employee of Galaxy Fm,” she posted.

Adding that she has been at the station since February 2013 as a Presenter and Programs Director doing programmes Morning Saga (Monday- Friday 6 am-10 am) and the Country Lounge (Sundays 10 am-1 pm). “I have some of you that have followed me right from the days at Urban TV (Skizzy show) Thank you for the love! Thank you for the support. I don’t take it for granted,” she adds.

On her next journey, Mariat says she is going to be concentrating on her businesses and family though it’s not the end of the journey for her on the airwaves. “I will be communicating when I get back on air In Sha Allah.”
