One more night as Amnesia bows out

From Laftaz to Liquid Silk, club Amnesia is the latest club to close its doors to the general public. The Jinja road based hangout only has Thursday (today) in operation after eight years in business.
Lately, business has not been good as just a handful of clients have been spotted at the club.

According to Innocent Nahabwe, the director of the club, they are simply moving to something else. He also denied the information doing rounds that failing is the main reason why they had to close shop but admitted that the environment has changed.

Innocent Nahabwe one of the Amnesia proprietors

“We didn’t fail. We are moving on to something else. We will tell you soon. Business must keep responsive. We must adapt as the environment changes. Many like to cheer on failure. Only the trees which are standing can be blown by the wind!” he said in reply to a post on social media.

Club Amnesia has been the only operating club along the street after the closure of Space Lounge which was formerly club Rouge, 9degrees, Mateos bar and Sway club among others.
