Goodlyfe record song with P-Square duo

A  lot of rumours still surround the just concluded P-Square concert. According to reliable sources, the organiser of the show remains heavily indebted after failing to make any profits from the concert.

Rumour has it that the organiser who paid the Nigerian-born singing duo a whopping $150,000 (about Shs 390m) had acquired loans from different people and used properties like land and his house as security. The organiser’s woes aside, P-Square thrilled! And like we had told you months ago, the Nigerian duo kept their promise of recording a duet with a Ugandan artiste.

Although the duo had kept their choice of artistes to work with a secret, they could not hide their excitement when they saw our very own Mowzey & Weasel. It was evident, the Nigerian and Ugandan pairs would do something in their line of business. The Good Lyfe singers spent a lot of time with Peter and Paul during their stay in Uganda and part of the time was studio time. According to a source, the two singing pairs recorded a duet that was produced by both Washington and Jude Okoye, P-Square’s elder brother, manager and producer.

Like Peter of P-Square said when they performed with Mozey & Weasle on stage, “If P-Square can sing with you, it means you are like P-Square or you can even be better than them!” Who knows Good Lyfe might be headed to the P-Square standards of international acclaim!
