Michael Ouma, Joseph Sax thrill

It is one thing to know how to play an instrument but it is something else to master the art of instruments. Uganda has quite a number of instrumentalists but Michael Ouma and Joseph Sax have cemented their name here and it is probably because of their shared strengths that they have decided to work as a duo.
The two were joined by their friends Emma Dragu, Jacinta, Roger Tenwa, Sam Bisaso, Elijah Kitaka and Joshua Maggwa last Wednesday during the ‘Live Music Vaults’ at Exo Lounge former Club Play.

For three uninterrupted hours, the duo along with a band thrilled guests, with Ouma on the bass guitar, Emma Dragu on the microphone and trumpet, Joseph Sax on the saxophone, Jacinta as the backup while Roger, Sam and Joshua played the drums, Piano and bass guitar respectively.
Among the songs that got the crowd applauding included Just The Way You Are, Human Nature, Overdose, On The Low, Lusa, Mateeka, Sinamakosa and Rara.

Ouma and Joseph Sax also surprised the audience with original compositions; A Little More from Sax and Paradise from Ouma.
It was at the end of their performance that the duo then broke the news that they would be performing together every first Wednesday of the month.
