Joseph Sax has been a member of Janzi Band since 2011 and together they have been putting up splendid shows at different venues and events but that love affair has come to an end. Going by what we heard, Joseph Sax, real name Joseph Kizito, has spent close to a month without performing with the rest of the guys and everyone was tightlipped.
And just when we thought the guy was ill, travelled, or something, we caught him performing at Ykee Benda’s Concert. So we dug around and infor we came across is that Sax moved on to do his solo thing and from what we gathered, it is working for him, as he has been booking gig after gig since he left. And he has also received two nominations; VIGA awards and International Reggae and World Music Awards as Best Instrumentalist.
