Businessman Sudhir Ruparelia has offered to sponsor Ugandan child rapper Fresh Kid’s primary education.

The businessman through his Ruparelia Foundation has offered the young artist, real name Patrick Senyonjo, a fully study scholarship up-to primary seven.

Fresh kid came to the limelight last month and attracted everyone’s attention after the State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Ms Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi advised him to drop the mic and go to school.

The businessman on Friday said his Foundation was ready to sponsored primary education for the seven-year-old rapper at one of his schools, Kampala Parents.

“Today I met a young man called Fresh Kid – I was moved by his ambition being only 7 years old. I would love to see him become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there hence, Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young man with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents School,” Mr Ruparelia said.

He said that fresh kid had accepted the offer and is yet to start his new chapter at the new school.

Following Ms Nakiwala’s advise last month, many people have attacked her on social media over her statement while others have offered the Banteka singer with many study opportunities.

Currently, Fresh Kid is primary two at St Agnes Kawanda.
