KABAREEBE
You must have seen the picture of Chameleone hugging an almost nude girl at a recent show in Kampala. The picture was all over tabloids and was rumoured to have caused problems between Chameleone and his wife Daniela. Rumours had made rounds that Daniela had left their marital home and flew with her children to Italy. But it later turned out that Daniela was on holiday with the kids. Well, the girl in the picture was former Miss Uganda contestant Doreen Kabareebe. Currently a model, Kabareebe is said to come from a staunch born-again family.
However, it is very hard to miss her at music concerts and all sorts of parties in different hangouts in town. However, things seem to have changed. Kabareebe, a student at Nkumba University, seems to have transformed into a Facebook preacher.
She recently revealed that she is now a member of Christ Embassy Church in Banda. In one of her recent posts, she wrote. “I always tell God in my prayers to come and appear to me by Himself.” Had a dream last night, preaching to a multitude of people, one of them handed a gift of thanks to me..as they were clapping en shouting, I woke up…trust me in confusion, I just got on ma knees………… seriously!”
Kabereebe also posted, “The past is gone. For I am a new creature. I don’t live by what people say about me but rather I live by what God says about me. Fellowship was marvelous, be blessed and have a blessed night guys.”
We do not know how serious Kabareebe is about her turning to God, but we wish her all the best!
