Woman who bailed out R. Kelly under attack

Valencia Patrice Love, the woman that posted bail for embattled RnB superstar R. Kelly has come under attack on social media with many calling her out for ‘supporting a pedophile’.

Valencia, who claims to be a friend to the singer, posted $100 thousand bond to ensure that he is released after spending two nights in jail.

However activists and many social media users are livid because they had been hoping that R. Kelly would have to stay in jail since he had reportedly failed to raise the bail money.

Love on the blu, an Illinois-based restaurant owned by Valencia has also suffered the outrage as some have camped on their social media pages. A one Giselle Beaulieu commented on a post calling for customers saying that she can never visit the restaurant.

“Why? So R Kelly can pick his next victims? No thanks. This restaurant should be shut down,” she ranted.

Valencia’s identity was revealed by Fox News reporter Tia. A. Ewing who posted R. Kelly’s bail forms online.
Needless to say, those praying for R.Kelly’s incarceration were not pleased with the development.

@ishenarobinson compared Valencia to family members who protect child molesters.
“Like the mothers and aunties who defend the predators in their families when their little daughters and nieces talk about what they’ve done to them,”

?@SekaiFarai said, “Imagine being the ignoble bastard that bails the persistent pedophile out of jail truncating the celebration of dozens of victims, some who waited decades for justice.”

?R. Kelly was freed from jail Monday after posting bail and pleading not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sex abuse against four victims, three of them minors.

The 52-year-old, who did not speak to reporters, was released from custody after spending three nights behind bars during which time his associates and family members worked to gather the $100,000 necessary to bail him out.

Hours earlier, Kelly stood in a Chicago courtroom wearing an orange jumpsuit as his lawyer entered a not-guilty plea. The musician had turned himself in three days earlier.

The star’s bail had been set at $1 million, of which he was required to pay 10 percent which was cleared by Valencia.
His lawyer Steve Greenberg – who has called his client’s finances “a mess” – maintained the chart-topper’s innocence.
