Because of their huge following, some artistes limit their selves to just performing but not Cinderella Sanyu alias Cindy who recently exhibited her other side.

Cindy a few days back was invited to motivate and inspire children from Brass for Africa during their fun day at Youth Sharing Hall Nsambya.

We are not sure how far her message went but the former Blu *3 member has a story to tell.

The singer who grew up in Ntinda police barracks is the fourth of six children.

Cindy says she didn’t grow up like the rest of the other musicians in a good life but was surely destined for greater things because of her talent.

“My mum was a police woman and we were six children at home. We didn’t have much but I was so talented that she always told me that I would be like Chaka Chaka when I grew up. That motivated me a lot,” Cindy told the children.

She further added that during Christmas, her elder brothers would look for pigeons and eat them as chicken and that as other families were enjoying soda, they would just buy super dip and add it to water.

Cindy called upon everyone never to underestimate the power of talent because it’s what has put her in her current position.

The artiste later put up a performance regardless of the fact that she was only paid to inspire.
