Eddy Kenzo asks fans to support Bebe Cool

Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool

This afternoon, we were shocked to see Eddy Kenzo rallying his fans and the entire world to vote for Bebe Cool in the upcoming AFRIMA awards that are happening in Accra Ghana next weekend.

At first we thought it was a pirated account but the blue tick was enough to convince us that this information was on Kenzo’s verified Facebook account.

“Vote for Bebe cool in AFRIMA, guys!! Tuyina okwegata mumbera nga eno bweti. Translated as (We have to stay united in a situation like this) Team Uganda let’s do this for our country. Vote vote vote. Together we can,” was what Kenzo has written.

He supplemented this post with Bebe Cool’s poster of the Best East African male category, in which he’s nominated.

Kenzo call to vote might be attributed to the fact that he’s missing out on this category.

This comes three days after the musician performed at Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert where he also rallied on the audience to keep supporting Bobi Wine.

Eddy Kenzo has been Bebe Cool’s sworn enemy but this gesture might be a sign that the Ugandan music industry is finally becoming united.
