Grace Nakimera is the happiest girl on earth after clinching a lucrative deal that has also propelled her into an Indian books of records, all thanks to the soap-making company Kiboko.
We understand that the Nvaawo Nawe singer was paid handsomely to record the company’s anthem as they celebrated turning 20 years in business in Uganda.
Nakimera was the only artiste who performed as Kiboko celebrated their big day in Munyonyo on Friday – the very day the company entered the Limca Book of Records for arranging the largest carpet of soap.
They paraded 375,000 bars of soap covering three quarters of a football pitch at Munyonyo where several international media houses from Africa and Asia were around to witness the landmark event.
The soap was later donated to several schools in the country to improve hygiene.
Accordingly, Nakimera’s name has since appeared in several websites in India alone.
Meanwhile, she also clinched a deal to perform with Bollywood stars in two-months time.
CSR consultant Rajesh Kaltra, who came from India specifically for the event, also picked interest in Nakimera and they have already worked out a plan to have her perform in Gandhi’s country.
