Chagga performs at Roast and Rhyme as a guest.

Goodlyf manager Chagga spent the whole of last week in prison in Luwero. He was earlier advertised as one of the headlining artistes at Roast and Rhyme that went down on Sunday at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
But because no one knew his destiny, the organizers decided to remove him from the posters and replace him with Fefe Bussi. However, the former Leone Island musician was released on Thursday, three days to the event, which turned everything around. Chagga made an appearance at the show as a guest artiste and indeed impressed. He reminded the audience of his golden days at Leone Island with songs such as Birungi, Kiba kibi, Yoono, Kabite, jangu eno and Nze akwagala among others, before inviting Chameleon on stage to do a couple of songs together as they used to when he was bucking him up.

Before Chagga, The Mith Mayanja, Akadope band and comedians Madrat and Chiko had warmed up the stage to give some entertainment to the revelers, especially those who were not roasting their meat and feeling the breeze of the lake.
Rapper Feffe Bussi took to the stage at 8pm and before his customary free style did songs like ‘Yes no, Iddi Amin and who is who. It was however the freestyle that wowed the crowd.
Jamal Wasswa, perhaps one of the best vocalists in Uganda was the last act for the storyteller’s edition of the Bell lager sponsored event.
The myth and Navio perform
His presence on stage was enough to make the ladies and some gents scream and when he started performing, it was completely another story. He serenaded through tracks such as Anavawa, Kangende, Eno love, Ononsonyiwa, Oba wuwo and Siste. The live band also did justice to him as every song was on point.
Despite some revelers undermining the lineup earlier, they were in for a surprise and everyone left looking forward to another edition three months from now.
