Critics have for the last three days been on President Yoweri Museveni’s case after he named dead people on the list of RDCs he circulated to the media last Friday.

William Aya, who was appointed deputy RDC Pader District is reportedly dead.

According to the new list, Aya and a one Geoffrey Aluma, Amudat were dropped.

Meanwhile, Mr Andrew Napajja who was, according to Museveni’s June 15 list, appointed as RDC Kaabong District is the LCV chairperson for Moroto District.

However, Presidential press secretary, Mr Don Wanyama on Tuesday admitted there were some mistakes with the initial list before he promised to share the correct one.

“@KagutaMuseveni has made some slight revisions to the list issued over the weekend,” tweeted Mr Wanyama on June 19.

“In a statement that accompanied the new list, Mr Museveni said: “In Exercise of Powers conferred on the President of Uganda by Articles 99 and 203 of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby appoint the following persons as Resident District Commissioners and Deputy Resident District Commissioners, respectively.”
