Stella Nyanzi threatens to disrupt State of Nation address with coffin

Dr Stella Nyanzi has threatened to storm into Serena Hotel where the State of the Nation address is going to be delivered by President Museveni.

“I am carrying my second set of protest coffins, drum, protest songs, cooking pots, sauce pans, spoons, mingling sticks, placards and markers to the Serena Hotel. I am participating in Storming the State of Nation Address,” Nyanzi has written on social media.

Nyanzi says that she will match with other members of the Women’s Protest Working Group  who are protesting against the rampant kidnaps and murders of women and girls in the country.

“I have just completed the protest art work on the next set of protest coffins. Yesterday, the anti-riot police goons captured my first three protest coffins when they arrested our four comrades from the Jobless Brotherhood of Uganda. Well, angry women are as innovative as the gods! I will make one thousand protest coffins to carry,” she says.

By press time, Nyanzi and her coffins had not yet made an appearance at Serena Hotel but Sqoop is on the lookout for her kitenge outfits.
