It’s a well-known fact that Zari has juggled a number of men in her life time including the late Ivan Semwanga, Diamond Platinums, Faruouk Sempala and many more. One man, however, that many fail to believe she dated is 90’s star, Rasta Rob.
The radio personality/DJ has however come out to say that he first met Zari when she was still a young girl in Jinja, before she turned into a continental socialite.
“For a big part of my life I have been a DJ. Many times I used to perform in Jinja, at a place called Sailing club. That is where I first met Zari. She was still a young girl. She must have been around 18,” Rasta Rob says.
He also added that Zari would not have become famous if it wasn’t for him. “Its me who brought Zari to Kampala many years ago …must have been around 1996 or 1997,” he said, adding that he still reminiscences about the Good times he had with Zari Hassan back then. Oh young love!!
