Rena Namakula, who held her maiden concert at Serena Hotel last night knew that she had to pull all stops possible to make sure that gives people a memorable experience.
To do this, she hired designer Dyna Vence Ruvuza who designed a spectacular and over the top pink floral dress that is still the talk of town after the show ended.
Well Ruvuza could not contain the pride she felt after the dress received immense praise on social media.
The designer wrote on social media that the sensational dress was inspired by India.
“My inspiration for this dress was actually India. When you walk through the streets of India, there are flowers everywhere, there is colour everywhere. They even buy fresh flowers and decorate their cars” she posted.
She revealed that she is the one that approached Rema with the idea and the artiste bought it.
She wrote; “I came to rema with this idea and am so glad she took it up. The idea was to make an unforgettable dress. Something so beautiful so why not make a little miracle garden of our own on stage,” and a garden she made. Rema looked angelic on that swing amidst all the flowers as she sung her heart away.
Dyna Ruvuza is the mother to Kayla, that little girl who was trapped in a car while playing and nearly died. A fundraising car wash was done and money was raised for her to get treatment abroad. Kayla has made remarkable steps on her way to recovery.
“I got obsessed with flowers I kept thinking that when kayla starts to see again, i will take her to miracle gardens in dubai so she can see as many flowers as possible.thats why you will see so many flowers in my art pieces this year,” Dyna concluded.
