Remember how local artistes ate big during President Museveni’s Tubonga Naawe campaign? Well, the time has come for another lot of artistes to eat big but this time from a socialite – Brian Kirumira known to many as Bryan White. The money-splashing socialite has been quiet since his release from Luzira Prison in November where he was detained over a shooting at his house.
He returned in the news this week after creating a scene as he donated Shs25m for Mowzey Radio’s treatment. While the lights still focused on him, Bryan White on Tuesday announced that he was officially launching his Bryan White Foundation and he plans to work with Ugandan artistes. According to Bryan White, the foundation has been running but will officially launch next week in Mbarara with a concert.
Some of the artistes to bag big include Chameleone, Radio and Weasel, King Micheal, Pallaso, Cindy and Lady Mariam.
Already, the artistes have received a Shs5m advance which he announced in a Facebook live video. The Bryan White Foundation is meant to help underprivileged people start businesses.
