City businessman Suleiman Mbuga, alias SK Mbuga has denied knowledge about the fraud allegations being brought against him and his wife Vivienne Chebet by Expressen, a Swedish newspaper.
On Wednesday news broke out about how Mbuga colluded with Chebet to defraud an elderly Swedish former head of state and county politician, Sten Heinsoo, of over Shs 23 billion with the former promising him love and gold in return.

Attempts to reach the couple as of yesterday proved futile as they had reportedly fled the country.
Mbuga has today taken to social media laughing off the accusations. He posted a picture of a local publication that had a story about the alleged Mbuga fraud case and captioned, “Are they talking about me or someone else??”
His followers immediately commented with some applauding him for the said fraudulent acts while others advised him to go into hiding.
Bindia Kenneth commented, “My request is your family should use it to finish up your projects to support our country. Years back those foreigners invaded Africa and Uganda inclusive and am very sure they took away more than even the mere than 20 billion they are complaining about. And to our government do not bother listening to such foreign nonsense I hear Mbuga should be investigated. Basing on what ground yet you used our money in Tojikwatako issues. Mbuga bring money home and invest in our country,”
Moon Tekisha: I stand with you SK Mbuga. Thank you for not eating that money alone. You chose to help your people so I stand with you on this, tebaja kukwatako (meaning they will not touch you).
Lukwago Muhammed: They took our grandparents and used them to build their great cities, empires and so many other things. That is why SK Mbuga is just picking some pennies from then
Kibalama Jonathan: Many gov’t officials have robbed from ugandans. I remember Muhakanizi robbing 250 billions from finance ministry, 24 billions on Katosi road, Kabushenga robbed all Catholics in the name of God by forcing them to buy a rosary at Shs1000 etc. Now i want to ask here, why are you getting worked up over money which was robbed from Sweden by our wise boys and girls who even donated ambulances, put up hospitals to employ thousands of people. My dear Ugandans, just relax and give a big hand clap to the Mbugas.
