Micheal Mutunzi
What do you do?
I am the Creative Director at Graphisys Arts, a company that does editing, computer animation, graphic designs and everything in between from banners to posters and billboards. We also teach university students (especially in Makerere because we are located in Nakulabye), basics in industrial art, graphics designing and also software usage.
Where do you get that name?
I combined graphics and systems.
Did you go to school to learn what you are doing?
I’m still learning. I’m doing Industrial Art at Makerere University. My kind of jobs are simple banners and maybe student course works.
What are some of your wildest plans?
To make an international brand after taking over the local market, employ very many Ugandans and, lastly, improve the industry as a whole.
How much more capital would you require to set standards for your company?
I’m worth about Shs3m now, but I would require about Shs7m more.
